Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

At Toolzer, your privacy is our top priority. We believe that online tools should work without collecting or storing your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what data is processed when you use our tools, how long it exists, and who has access to it.

IP Address

Your public IP address is received automatically by our server when you visit any page — this is how the internet works, and we cannot prevent it. However, we handle it with extreme care:

  • What we use it for: Displaying your IP (What Is My IP tool), geolocation lookup (country, city, ISP), VPN/proxy detection, and network diagnostics.
  • How long we keep it: Your IP is processed in real-time only and is never written to disk, database, or logs. It exists only for the duration of the HTTP request (typically milliseconds).
  • Third parties: For geolocation data, your IP is sent to ipwho.is — a free IP geolocation API. We do not control their logging practices. For DNS lookups, queries are sent to cloudflare-dns.com (Cloudflare DoH).
  • Can you opt out? Yes — use a VPN or proxy service. Our VPN Checker tool will confirm your anonymity.

User Agent & Browser Data

Your browser automatically sends a User-Agent string with every request. This contains your browser name, version, operating system, and device type.

  • What we use it for: Displaying your browser info (for reference only). Some tools like "What Is My IP" show your User-Agent so you can see what your browser reveals about you.
  • How long we keep it: Not stored at all. It is only read during the request and never logged, cached, or saved.
  • Screen resolution: Our Screen Resolution tool reads your screen dimensions via JavaScript in your browser. This data never leaves your device — it is computed entirely client-side.

Cookies & Tracking

We do not use cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts.

  • No session cookies
  • No advertising cookies
  • No analytics tracking
  • No fingerprinting or behavioral tracking

The only storage mechanism we use is localStorage in your browser for purely functional purposes (e.g., remembering your last-used tool settings). This never leaves your device.

Server Logs

Our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) may generate access logs for security and performance monitoring. These logs typically include:

  • Timestamp of the request
  • IP address (anonymized where possible)
  • Requested URL
  • HTTP status code

We do not operate our own log servers. Any logs are managed by our infrastructure provider and are subject to their data retention policies. We do not use these logs for analytics, marketing, or user profiling.

Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be absolutely clear about what we never collect or store:

  • No names, emails, or phone numbers (unless you voluntarily submit them via the Contact or Review forms)
  • No browsing history or visited pages
  • No search queries
  • No uploaded files (image tools process files client-side in your browser)
  • No payment information
  • No social media profiles

Contact & Review Submissions

When you use our Contact or Review forms, you voluntarily provide:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Country (for reviews)
  • Message or review text

This data is stored securely in our database for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or displaying your review. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Right to know: You can always see what data we have about you (contact/review submissions only).
  • Right to deletion: Request removal of your contact/review data.
  • Right to opt out: Use a VPN or browser privacy mode to prevent IP collection.
  • Right to transparency: This policy is always available and updated when practices change.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
